MAUREEN ELPHICK

ARTIST

Mosaic artist Maureen Elphick lives and works in Perth, Western Australia. Maureen attended Claremont School of Art. Her formal studies include Art and Design majoring in printmaking / drawing and a Bachelor of Art and Music Education from ECU.

Maureen has been designing and making mosaics for over a decade using both glass and ceramic. Besides private commissions, Maureen’s recent work has seen her take on a number of Public Art commissions in both metropolitan and regional areas of Western Australia.
Maureen also enjoys working in other art forms. Wow Cow was produced as part of the 2010 Margaret River Cow parade and the 40m long screen adorning the Trinity College Cultural Centre used Picperf, sheets of perforated aluminium, as the medium.
